Celebrating Diwali, Festival of Lights
To celebrate Diwali, Festival of Lights, Aston Group partnered with Morgan Sindall Property Services to sponsor henna candle decorating workshops by local henna artist Ghausia Haq, at The Outset Centre in Walthamstow.
These were delivered in conjunction with Waltham Forest Council Housing Surgery for residents on the Grange Road estate. Residents could come along and speak to individual council teams or representatives from Aston Group and Morgan Sindall, whilst taking part in the fun activities and enjoying some free tasty food and refreshments.
The event was a great success with residents from diverse cultures and backgrounds uniting to celebrate such an important date in the Hindu calendar.
