Aldriche Way Big Clean Up
Our fantastic team headed down to Aldriche Way for their estate day with the theme of cleaning up the estate
Our Resident Liaison officer, Stuart Finch, Driver Paul Goodwin and Social Value Manager Rachel Statter attended the Aldriche Way Estate Day.
The theme was around cleaning up the estate so we provided litter pickers, gloves and black bags to local young people, who were dressed up in superhero capes and masks. We donated recycling bins, bags and resources as raffle prizes.
We managed to speak with lots of residents about employability training and careers within the Built Environment, promoting our employability drop in sessions that we will be holding at the local community centre from September 15th.
We invited local waste recycling company Urbaser to join in the fun, and provide educational games to teach the residents about recycling correctly. Whilst it rained for the first part of the event, the sun eventually appeared and the smell of the free BBQ food, soon had the residents turning up to enjoy themselves.
