Spreading Christmas cheer in our communities

As winter approaches, we ramp up our social value activities and our work within the community. Rachel Statter and the team have been busy spreading Christmas cheer — and what a fantastic job they did!

Debbie Betts, Rachel, and Gary went above and beyond at the Waltham Forest Community Hub in London Borough of Waltham Forest, dressing as festive characters to bring joy to the children. Together, the Hub and Aston Group created a magical grotto where local families could write their Christmas lists and meet Father Christmas.

The team’s effort, warmth, energy, and enthusiasm ensured that the children (and adults!) had a truly memorable experience. The feedback from parents — and especially from the Hub’s new CEO — was outstanding.

Our people always gain so much from taking part in these events and leave feeling humble and inspired. Their time and commitment make a real difference to local children and the wider community. A huge thank you to everyone who gave up their Saturday to make it happen!
