Hackney Marsh Partnership and Aston Group – A Match That Makes a Difference

In the midst of a cost-of-living crisis, local support is more vital than ever.
We’re proud to have donated 10 desktop PCs, monitors, keyboards and routers to Hackney Marsh Partnership via Hackney Giving's fantastic Match My Project platform – which connects charities with businesses that want to help.
HACKNEY MARSH PARTNERSHIP reached out through Match My Project to support their Concorde Youth Hub, where young people gather to learn, create, and connect. When we saw their request for computers, we knew we could help.
“We’re proud to have supplied Hackney Marsh Partnership with the equipment they need and to contribute in a meaningful way to the great work they’re doing for young people in the borough,” said Aston Group. Mechanical Contracts Manager Dean Sherrin MCIPHE MIoL Sherrin visited the Youth Club to see the PC's in action.
It was very rewarding to see how we can contribute to the fantastic work you guys are doing at the centre. Long may it continue!"
This donation isn't just about tech. It's about:
✅ Enabling digital access
✅ Supporting education and creativity
✅ Helping HMP redirect vital funds into delivery, not infrastructure
Hackney Marsh Partnership's CEO Gary Burgess stated
"For us, it’s more than a donation – it’s a lifeline. The new computers will help young people develop digital skills, access education, and explore new opportunities, whilst saving the charity a capital expense - an expense that eats into our delivery costs.
Partnerships like this show the real value of Match My Project: bringing local needs and business support together to deliver lasting impact in the community."
