Celebrating industry recognition across housing, energy efficiency and social value

Aston Group celebrated a successful October awards season, receiving three Highly Commended accolades at the Housing Executive Awards and national recognition for Social Responsibility at the National Energy Efficiency Awards, reflecting the dedication of our people, partnerships and projects.

Six national award nominations, three Highly Commended accolades and recognition for the positive impact our people make every day.

October was a proud month for Aston Group as we attended two prestigious industry awards ceremonies, celebrating the achievements of our teams, partners and the communities we serve.

Over the course of two weeks, we travelled to Bolton Wanderers Stadium for the Housing Executive Awards 2026 and the Hilton Birmingham Metropole for the National Energy Efficiency Awards 2026, where Aston Group was shortlisted across six award categories.

We were delighted to receive Highly Commended recognition in all three categories entered.

Being recognised across every category we were shortlisted for was a fantastic achievement and reflects the dedication of our teams, the strength of our partnerships and our commitment to improving homes and residents' lives.

National Energy Efficiency Awards 2026

Following our success at the Greater London Energy Efficiency Awards, Aston Group was also shortlisted at national level in three categories:

🏆 National Solar PV Project of the Year - Enfield Schools Solar Project

🏆 National Social Responsibility Company of the Year

🏆 National Council or Local Authority of the Year - London Borough of Waltham Forest (nominated by Aston Group)

The nomination for London Borough of Waltham Forest recognised the success of the SHDF Wave 2.2 and Wave 3 energy efficiency programmes delivered in partnership to improve homes, reduce carbon emissions and support residents.

The highlight of the evening was Aston Group being awarded Third Place in the National Social Responsibility Company of the Year category.

This recognition means a great deal to us because social value has never been something we do to meet a requirement. Supporting local communities, creating opportunities, volunteering our time and giving back has always been part of who we are.

Many of these activities happen quietly behind the scenes. We don't do them for awards or recognition. We do them because it's the right thing to do.

That's why it was particularly special to see the efforts of our people recognised on a national stage.

A proud reflection of our people

While awards are always welcome, what we're most proud of is what they represent.

From decarbonisation and repairs to partnership working, renewable energy and social value, these nominations and accolades recognise the passion, expertise and commitment of the people behind the work.

To receive three Highly Commended awards at the Housing Executive Awards and national recognition for Social Responsibility at the National Energy Efficiency Awards is an achievement everyone at Aston Group can be proud of.

A huge thank you to our colleagues, clients and partners who continue to make this possible, and congratulations to all the finalists and winners. We look forward to continuing to make a positive difference in the communities we serve.
