Aston Group is a finalist in three categories for the Housing Executive Awards 2026

Although entries for the awards are reported to be up 73% from last year, we have broken through with finalist nominations in the following categories:

Finalist: Best Decarbonisation Approach

London Borough of Waltham Forest & Aston Group (SHDF Wave 2 and 3).

Finalist: Partnership of the Year

Aston Group & London Borough of Waltham Forest.

Finalist: Best Repairs & Maintenance Team

To date, Aston Group has delivered gas servicing, repairs and maintenance services to the London Borough of Waltham Forest's housing stock since 2011. The contract covers over 8,000 council homes across some of the borough's most diverse and complex communities, with Aston Group operating in close partnership with Waltham Forest Council's Housing Management and Legal teams.

For 14 consecutive years, not a single home covered by this partnership has failed a gas safety inspection. An extraordinary record which includes thousands of vulnerable households and countless complex access challenges is the product of a quality management system built for consistency, a compliance framework designed to leave no home behind, and a training culture that equips every operative to deliver to the same exceptional standard.

As we celebrate 100% gas compliance over 14 years with Waltham Forest Council Housing Services, we are delighted our Repairs & Maintenance Team has received this public recognition for their hard work and dedication. 📣
